I just spoke with his wife, and, you're right, he's not doing well at all.  ALOT of prayers are needed....NOW!

And, if anyone has a band member in the family, please PM me for a special request.

Can anyone give us an update on what is wrong? Sending prayers to Watonka (God  in Native American language) for Indian Ken.

We understand he was in Arizona visiting his sister when he had a heart attack.  He was flown to Tuscon hospital where he remains in ICU and on life support and dialysis.

Pray for his family and his recovery.  I understand the band is pm'ing each other to get the word out.  One of them has the sister's address so they can send cards.

Indian Ken was a dedicated and enthusiastic fan and citizen.  The community and school was blessed to have such a person.  And the school, kids and community seemed to bring him much happiness.

Amen to that.  Me & My wife went to away games with Ken and his wife & out to eat after almost every home game.  Life will be different, football will be different, he will be thought of fondly by us the rest of our lives!

Wow!  That is such sad news!  :'(  He was such a great person and NDN Fan, it will not be the same without him!  I hope they will do a memorial to him at the first home game.  Prayers go out to his family.

This is truly a loss to our entire community. I don't think a more loyal fan exists, and Indian Ken will forever be remembered as a significant part of Port Neches - Groves Indian lore. Godspeed to him.

My sons in high school are so upset about this.

My heart & prayers go out to Indian Ken's family. He was a true Indian and will surely be missed throughout the community.

I would hope that a memorial will be done in his honor at the first home PN-G game.  I think it would be wonderful for the "powers to be" to make an honorary presentation to his wife/family of a beautiful purple & white feathered Indian headdress.

Wow...  I can't begin to imagine a game without his presence.

RIP Indian Ken!

A memorial plaque just inside the gate with "First One In The Stadium"  That was always Ken's motto.  He wanted to be the first fan no matter where we were playing.

That would be a fitting tribute.  no problem raising money for a plaque.  Football fans would gladly take up a collection.
